In general, I charge $240/hour for my time. I set aside 1.5 - 2.5 hours for the first visit depending upon your situation. In any consultation, you pay only for the actual time spent in consultation. Addressing health issues most frequently involve projects of short, medium or long duration. The ultimate cost depends so much on what is actually going on for you, how much testing needs to be done, how much consultation time will be needed over the long run, as well as what supplements hormones or other treatments may serve you. I can give you a better cost estimate once I know more about you...as occurs during that first visit. I am a Medical Doctor yet I do not bill insurance companies directly. Payment is required at the time of the visit. We do provide a special insurance billing form (“HCVA”) for in-office consultations (not for telephone consultations unless your insurance company accepts paying for these) for you to mail to your insurance company. Reimbursement to you depends on the specifics of your company and your policy. I am not a Medicare or Medicaid provider so that if you have these insurances unfortunately you cannot use them (which also means that you cannot use your secondary insurance). I also do not carry malpractice insurance. I do conform to Florida State Law’s requirements. This is explained in more detail in our initial questionnaire that we send to new patients. There are exceptions for charges in special instances.
